Programme
Day 1 · Fes – Ifrane – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
Leave Fes at 8:00 for Ifrane, the 'Switzerland of Morocco', and the cedar forest of Azrou with its Barbary macaques. Lunch in Midelt, then drive through the Ziz Gorges and the Ziz Valley via Errachidia and Erfoud to Merzouga. Sunset camel ride into the dunes and night in our desert camp.
Day 2 · Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades
Sunrise over Erg Chebbi and breakfast at the camp. Drive through Rissani and Tinejdad to the Todra Gorge for a walk in the canyon, then continue to the Dades Valley for dinner and the night.
Day 3 · Dades – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Follow the Rose Valley to Ouarzazate, visit the ksar of Ait Ben Haddou and cross the High Atlas over the Tizi n'Tichka pass, arriving in Marrakech in the evening.
Timings are a guide: as a private tour, the programme can be adapted to your pace and wishes.
