Programme
Day 1 · Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley
Leave Marrakech at 7:30 and cross the High Atlas over the Tizi n'Tichka pass. Visit the ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site, then drive past Ouarzazate and the Rose Valley to the Dades Valley. Dinner and night in a hotel in the Dades Valley.
Day 2 · Dades – Todra Gorge – Merzouga
Drive through the 'valley of a thousand kasbahs' to the Todra Gorge and walk between its 300 m cliffs. Continue via Tinejdad, Erfoud and Rissani to Merzouga. Ride a camel into the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset; dinner, Berber music and night in our desert camp.
Day 3 · Merzouga – Marrakech
Watch the sunrise over the dunes, ride back by camel and have breakfast. Return to Marrakech via Alnif, N'Kob, the Draa Valley and Ouarzazate, arriving in the evening.
Timings are a guide: as a private tour, the programme can be adapted to your pace and wishes.
