Ititnerary of: 3 Days tour from Fes to Marrakech

On the first day of our 3 days tour from Fes to Marrakech via the desert, we will collect you from your hotel or riad around 8:00 a.m. To reach Midelt, we travel through the highlands and cedar forests of the middle Atlas.
 
We pass through Ifrane, a captivating ski resort city. Cedar woodwork is the specialty of a notable handicraft center in Azrou that is worth a visit. Supper will be served in Midelt.
 
Later, we will travel to Merzouga Sahara desert, passing by ziz river, which originates in the eastern High Atlas and flows for 280 kilometers, carving its way through calcareous rocks, and creating magnificent gorges, with a tenfold flow during floods.
 
The internationally renowned village of Merzouga, also known as the Merzouga Dunes, is located 50 kilometers south of the Erfoud dunes. The natural attraction is readily accessible and offers a remarkable and affecting experience.
 
You will ride a camel like a Tuareg into the magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes, where you will set up a makeshift camp for the night. Dine on a traditional Berber banquet and spend the night in a Nomad camel yurt.
 

Your camel man will wake you up early in the morning so you can climb the sand dunes and see the beautiful Sahara desert sunrise. We will leave the Sahara after breakfast at the camp and drive to Dades Valley.

Our first stop will be Rissani, which is where the Alaouite empire began. This is the royal family that rules Morocco right now. You will go to its traditional souk, which is in the middle of the city and has different sections for dates, veggies, spices, animals, clothes, and crafts.

We'll keep going until we reach the 984-foot-deep (300-meter-deep) Todra Gorge. Along the way, we'll see green palm trees and Berber towns. We'll have time to hike through the tunnel and cool off in the Todra River, which is a beautiful place.

After lunch, we'll head west toward the Dades Valley, where we'll see beautiful sand castles and the "monkey toes" rock formations. Your hotel for the night will have a view of the green and lush Dades valley.

After breakfast on the last day of our 3 days tour from Fes to Marrakech via desert, we'll take a short walk through the canyons before heading to Marrakech.

We will go through Kalaat M'Gouna, the Valley of the Roses, and the Road of a Thousand Great Kasbahs on our way to the Dades Valley. Later will stop in the village of Ait Benhaddou for lunch on our way to Ouarzazate.

Now your chance to look around the famous UNESCO site, which has been the setting for many movies like "Gladiator" and "Lawrence of Arabia." We will drive through the Tizi N'Tichka pass to get to the city of Marrakech. At the end of the Fes to Marrakech 3 days desert trip, our driver will take you to your hotel in Marrakech.
